36 VIEWS is a radical observation dedicated to the tension between humanity and nature.
A slow film without dialogue or narration, that transmits the experience of time as in reality.
The film examines in ’36 Views’ the dramatic life at the foot of Mount Fuji, the highest mountain of Japan, for ages the symbol of eternal and pure beauty and inspiration for artists and philosophers.
Unpredictable nature, religious adoration and reckless exploration of the environment present a paradoxal mix.
